Reynaers CF 68 Bi-folding Doors review

Reynaers Concept Folding 68 door is the latest addition to Everglade’s family of aluminium doors. Reynaers promote CF 68 as ‘endless enjoyment’ and we think that’s a pretty good description.

Reynaers may have positioned the price of CF 68 to compete with the mainstream bi-fold market, but the doors shout Reynaers’ high quality throughout. There are clever ideas like an adjustable side profile that means you can install the complete folding doorset as one on site, making it a quicker bi-fold door to fit. The CF 68 is really smooth to operate and the low threshold options are a joy to use. There’s actually a range of thresholds to choose from including a flush 0mm – 15mm (with ramp option), a low 9mm – 30mm and a double weatherseal option. The wind resistance, air and water tightness achieve high standards rivalling other top quality aluminium bi-folds.

As you’d expect from Reynaers the CF 68 offers lots of folding configurations to suit most situations. It also has a low sightline with a glass to glass midsection of just 131mm, providing a large glazed area to let in lots of light. Talking with Everglade’s operations team, they can make a 7 pane Reynaers bi-folding door up to 2.4 metres high, so it will easily cope with most wide span domestic applications.

The threshold choices give an option for pretty much any floor construction which should cut down the amount of making good that needs to be done.
