A change in the aïr for Warmlite

Supply and demand is nothing new to the industry, but when demand moves towards bigger glass, better hardware and higher spec, switching to a supplier that can provide you with a high end product and marketing support that generates leads is what’s needed to grow.

That’s what Austin Power, Director at Warmlite did in 2014 when the company changed to aïr high performance aluminium bi-fold and lift & slide doors manufactured exclusively in the UK by Everglade. As one of the first aïr accredited retailers, Warmlite has now completed more than 80 installations of aïr doors.

“The type of retail customer that’s attracted to aïr know exactly what they want,” says Austin. “They’ve done the research so they know how they want their doors to look and what specification they need to achieve it.

“Switching to aïr has enabled Warmlite to cater to this type of customer who demands a high end product. We’ve installed both the aïr bi-fold and lift & slide doors into many new build, self-build and renovation properties with great feedback from customers.

“The big features of aïr that they pick up on are the slim sightlines and big glass panes that give them a great view. They really like how easily the doors glide open and shut with the Teflon® coated gaskets and stainless steel rollers and they’re impressed by the choice of designs and colours in the Purity handle collection.

“We’ve been a customer of Everglade Windows for a couple of years now, so we already knew that as a business it offers a lot of support to customers, including great marketing. True to form, the aïr brochure and website are excellent. They’re different from anything else out there and we’ve received several referrals from customers in our area who have enquired via the aïr website.

“Reading about aïr online and looking at some of the stunning photography in the brochure certainly gives customers a taste of what can be achieved with aïr, but there’s nothing like seeing and touching the door in person. After visiting the aïrzone at Everglade we installed aïr bi-fold and lift & slide doors in our showroom so customers can try them for themselves, see both types of doors and get a feel for them. It’s given customers even more confidence when buying aïr.”
