Transforming North London’s skyline
The Wembley Park development is one of the UK’s largest regeneration schemes, a decade-long transformation led by Quintain to create a vibrant new community in North London. Featuring 6,000 build-to-rent homes, retail spaces, and landscaped public areas, it’s reshaping a world-famous postcode into a thriving place to live and work.
The NE02 and NE03 phases represent one of the latest stages of this vision. Across six striking buildings, the project delivers 768 new apartments, with towers ranging from 9 to 26 storeys and positioned just 400 metres from Wembley Stadium.
When it came to specifying glazing systems for such a complex and high-performance development, Reynaers Aluminium was appointed as Quintain’s preferred supplier. As Reynaers’ trusted commercial fabrication partner, Everglade Windows was selected to supply the façades, a role that required technical excellence, meticulous planning, and seamless collaboration from start to finish.
A collaborative approach from the outset
Everglade Windows joined the project at an early stage, working alongside Reynaers, John Sisk & Son and Haworth Tompkins to ensure every detail met the project’s criteria. The glazing specification was complex, with requirements for blast mitigation, acoustic performance, thermal efficiency, and weather resistance, all while maintaining the slim sightlines and clean finish of the architectural design.
Jayesh Hirani, Director at Everglade Windows, explains: “The NE02 and NE03 Wembley projects were significant for Everglade Windows. There were many challenges, including the blast-proof specification, in addition to meeting the usual specification needs for air, wind, water, acoustics and U-values. Then there were logistical challenges, such as storage and meeting strict deadlines.”
Precision fabrication and offsite innovation
To manage the high volume of materials, Everglade Windows provided additional warehouse capacity and implemented strict storage and transport protocols. A temporary on-site structure was also built to protect the panels from the elements and ensure the integrity of the glazing and finishes.
“We worked on-site for a year in an open yard, where we built a temporary structure to keep the panels dry,” says Jayesh. “Our team ensured every detail was finished to perfection, despite the challenges of weather and space constraints.”
Engineering excellence with Reynaers
The façades at Wembley Park feature curtain walling, window and door and sliding patio door systems, all engineered to deliver exceptional performance.
The curtain walling system provided the robust engineering needed for high-rise use and enhanced security. The windows and doors offered superior thermal efficiency and weather resistance, while the sliding door system brought a next-generation design capable of achieving excellent U-values and expansive views.
“We were one of, if not the first, in the UK to include the high-spec sliding door system on such a significant commercial project,” adds Jayesh. “It was a perfect fit for the design and energy requirements, and the collaboration with Reynaers’ technical team ensured everything performed as specified.”
Recognition at the G Awards 2025
Reynaers Aluminium has been shortlisted for Commercial Project of the Year at the 2025 G Awards for its work on NE02 and NE03 Wembley Park – a nomination that celebrates technical innovation, sustainability, and collaboration at the highest level.
For Everglade Windows, it’s a proud moment too, recognition of the expertise, precision, and partnership that help make award-winning projects possible.
“We’re incredibly proud of what this project represents,” concludes Jayesh. “It’s a testament to the strength of our relationship with Reynaers, the skill of our team, and our commitment to delivering exceptional results on even the most complex developments.”
