Or, maybe it’s because at Everglade, London is part of our DNA. The city has always been known to be at the forefront of innovation in so many industries and window manufacturing is no different.

Since 1980, when Everglade was born in a garden shed in Hendon to the present day, where Everglade has two factories covering a total of 55,000 square feet across West London, we’ve been a London business through and through.

Specially supplying our customers with expertly finished aluminium and uPVC products all across the South East, our base is really important to us. It’s an easy place for our customers to get to for orders or to visit the newly refurbished showroom.

In window manufacturing, Everglade is what London is all about: inclusive, vibrant, in-the-know and always ahead of the game.

And that’s what we do for customers. We offer everything they need- from a small uPVC replacement bathroom window right through to a massive commercial glazed shop front project. We have the systems, the manufacturing capability and the service to get it to you on time, in full, made with care.

Not only that, but with experience comes plenty of knowledge. We understand the houses that line the streets of Greater London as well as the inner city, so we make sure our product range is chosen with those in mind.

All those 1930s art-deco properties dotted around aren’t necessarily looking for white PVCu windows. But, our Heritage 47 range of aluminium windows and doors stay faithful to art-deco design and have innovative technology that makes them super-efficient.

Balconies of Thames-side apartments don’t need bulky frames to interrupt the stunning view of the iconic London skyline. So we’ve got the stunning collection of aïr doors which have slender sightlines and offer impeccable thermal efficiency.

You can see exactly what I mean at our showroom, because we’ve had the London skyline pasted just behind one of the show doors, so you can see just how they manage to make a stunning view even better.

As well as giving our customers plenty of choice, we’re dedicated to giving them a great service. It’s not just customer support and advice, but making sure that our manufacturing is top-notch.

We’ve invested in the very best machinery so whether it’s PVCu or aluminium, our windows and doors have a perfect mitre, every single time. Each of our team is an expert in their field, thanks to our training programme and absolutely everything is thoroughly checked before it even gets near the exit.

Our recent re-brand was focussed on how much we love London too. We wanted the new colours and font to reflect the modern vibrancy of the new Everglade Leadership team as well as reflecting the modern, progressive city where we all live and love.

We planned our new leadership photo shoot around well-known London sites, old and new. We wanted to use long-standing landmarks and new capital architecture as a representation of the old-fashioned values and forward-thinking innovation that we have here at Everglade.

So maybe that’s why I love London. Because it’s a massive part of the family business that I grew up with and will always be a special place for the Everglade family.
