The aïrzone at Everglade Windows is one of seven impressive showroom displays of aïr high performance lift & slide and bi-fold doors already enhancing sales for aïr accredited retailers.
Showrooms are even more important for lift & slide and bi-fold doors. And here’s why. If I want a new car, what do I do? I might do a bit of research on the internet, check out some makes and models and then I’m definitely going to the car showroom. I want to check the finish, the driving position, and all the extras. Then I want to take it for a test drive. Of course, I could configure my whole car on the internet, but nothing beats the touch and feel of cars in a showroom.
We think it’s the same when consumers are buying doors. Especially when it’s for a big project. Looking at a door in a brochure or on a plan, even if it’s a 3D drawing, doesn’t give homeowners the size and scale of the doors. You can’t tell the feel of a Purity handle or how effortlessly the door closes.
Coming into the aïrzone at Everglade Windows definitely shows the captivating aïr doors at their best. On display there are six full sized sets of doors in different colours and configurations. The sheer height and width of the individual leafs with their slim frames is impressive. Like the car showroom, they can see the finishes and colours. Visitors to the showroom can open and close the doors using just a finger light touch, and see the superior engineering for themselves.
We’ve found that choosing between lift & slide and bi- fold doors is much easier for customers when they can test drive them side by side. But the most highly used piece of kit in our showroom is the aïr handle board. Some customers take longer choosing their handles than they do the door. And with boundless possibilities, it’s not surprising.
Many homeowners can’t imagine what a door or window will look like installed in their home, and coming into the aïrzone they can experience the products for themselves. We believe it is part of the aïr customer experience.
